Following the acquisition of GWM by Skybound Capital, the company sought a comprehensive rebrand to establish Skybound Wealth Management. The primary objectives were to move away from the outdated identity of GWM, overcome the negative reputation associated with previous ownership and in-still a sense of solidity and trust in the new brand. Additionally, it was essential to develop a client-centric tone of voice and create a defined, consistent visual identity that resonated with high-net-worth individuals.

The rebranding culminated in a refined and elegant visual identity for Skybound Wealth Management. The selected colour palette featured purple, chosen for its historical association with luxury and royalty, complemented by gold and teal accents. This combination conveyed strength and exclusivity while appealing to a diverse clientele. The “storytelling” concept was introduced, allowing for rich, vibrant imagery that emphasised life, journeys, and experiences, thereby fostering a deeper connection with clients. After exploring various design concepts, a simple circular icon was adopted as the logo, drawing visual cues from the parent company, Skybound Capital. The circular form symbolised the company’s international presence, while the ‘swooshes’ represented clients’ journeys around the globe. This logo became a central element of a multi-functional system, adaptable across different applications. Collectively, these elements established a strong foundation for Skybound Wealth Management’s brand, effectively communicating its commitment to client-focused, high-quality financial services.
